BAPS understands education is vital to individual and social prosperity, and works in communities around the world to increase education awareness through literacy campaigns, popular media and academic seminars and conferences. These programs allow BAPS to reach out to diverse populations regarding the importance of education.
A prime example of these efforts is Mystic India. Produced by BAPS Charities, Mystic India is an exciting educational tool that takes the audience on a journey through Indian culture. The film tells the story of a young child-yogi, Neelkanth Varni, who traverses the length and breadth of Indian geography and culture. Teachers and educators have used the film to teach their students about the history of India, and teachers are provided special educators’ guides to supplement the film for their classes.
