BAPS promotes oratory training through weekly assemblies, special training camps, summer camps, and, most frequently, through festivals. Youths are encouraged to speak in Hindi, Gujarati, and English fluently and fearlessly. They are given instruction by professional speakers and articulate orators. After perfecting their speeches and narrations, youths are given an opportunity to present in front of their peers, family members, and, eventually, an appreciative and encouraging crowd of thousands. These experiences help strengthen their abilities and confidence. That confidence gives them the passion and energy to employ these skills throughout their academic and professional careers.
