Spiritual and moral conventions promote ideals which are the base for our youth development initiatives. These seminars create an environment where it is ‘cool’ to have faith in God. Youths are surrounded by peers who are in similar situations: they are trying to progress on the spiritual path while balancing their social, academic, and professional lives. These seminars are attended by thousands of participants and are led by educated sadhus that have been raised and educated in the same communities as the attendees. These sadhus speak to youths in their first language and give advice and scenarios relevant to their lives. Youths are taught to follow their spiritual and moral disciplines even while living away from home. They are shown practical methods for incorporating spirituality in their busy schedules by following simple yet important daily rituals, such as puja, mansi, daily satsang reading, and aarti. These conventions help raise a generation of morally pure and spiritually inclined youths.
