Communities thrive from economic and moral prosperity. Substance abuse and addiction drain society of both these elements. BAPS has developed intervention and de-addiction programs to benefit members from rural and tribal communities to the metropolises of the western world. Children and youths enact campaigns through door-to-door visits. Mega festivals in India, Europe, and North America have helped de-addict more than 50,000 people to date. Special publications and exhibitions about the benefits of living an addiction-free life and the consequences of substance abuse are published in various languages for people around the world. Intervention campaigns serve to educate individuals on the adverse effects of these substances and to inspire them to live an addiction-free life. By bringing about an important change in each individual, these initiatives consequently contribute to the development of society as a whole.
