An important part of education is cultural awareness. The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha organizes Experience India Tours for youths from different parts of the world to partake in a life-changing tour of India. By completely immersing themselves in India’s culture, youths gain valuable insight about its people, places, and practices. The trips also serve to educate youths on the spiritual and moral principles upheld in Indian society. Previous tours have covered different parts of India, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, the foothills of the Himalayas, and Andhra Pradesh. These trips provide a cultural education that can only be soaked in with first-hand experiences. These trips are reinforced with workshops, classroom sessions, and workbooks that help participants digest all the information they receive.
