A total of over 1,600 delegates and supporting volunteers from BAPS centers throughout Africa will attend one of the three shibirs based on the theme ‘Divyam – Mahant Swami na Sange, Divyata na Range’, in the divine presence of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj.
The conventions, which will focus on how to see all with divyabhav by learning from the life of Mahant Swami Maharaj, will be conducted as below:
11–13 August: 1st Karyakar Shibir
14–16 August: Kishore-Kishori Shibir
17–19 August: 2nd Karyakar Shibir
Divyabhav is a virtue that Mahant Swami Maharaj holds very close to his heart. He sees everyone as divine and inspires us to see each other in the same way. The idea of ‘sarve divya chhe’ (all are divine) presented in these shibirs will enable the delegates to apply the lens of divyabhav in their daily lives and take a step towards attaining the Satpurush’s rajipo.
Delegates will also explore how to instill the value of dasbhav in one’s heart and cultivate divyabhav towards all. Through skits and practical activities, delegates will be guided on how to apply divyabhav in day-to-day situations. Group discussions based on the experiences of devotees who have lived by these principles will put these situations into focus. Also, Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami, Atmaswarup Swami, and other learned swamis will provide inspiring guidance to the delegates on how they can align their lives with the Satpurush’s wishes.
During the shibirs, delegates will experience at firsthand the everlasting ‘Divyam’ of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj through his ‘divya darshan’, ‘amrutvani’ and ‘gunatit jnan’.
