Our school celebrated India’s 75th Republic Day on 26th January 2024 with great vigour. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The chief guest for the day was Mrs. Ruzan Khambatta, a social disruptor and a true Blue Reformist working as an action agent for women safety. She is an invigorating Speaker and Zealous Techie to the core practising creativity and innovation. Our Campus Director Dr. Neeta Shah welcomed the Chief Guest.
The program started with a parade followed by flag hoisting. The Chief Guest and other dignitaries were invited for the flag hoisting. Our chief guest hoisted the National flag, the students saluted the National flag, sung National Anthem and pledged to uphold its honour and integrity.
After this, the program in the Yogi prayer hall started with prayer followed by speech which emphasised on the key roles to be played by youth in ‘Viksit Bharat’. It was followed by a group song titled ‘Hum Ek Hain Gulistan Ke’.
Our Campus Director, Dr. Neeta Shah addressed all the students on the occasion. In her speech she talked about skill development. Recalling an incident of 1990, she said that Pramukh Swami Maharaj had gathered around 21000 youth for the Oath Taking ceremony to serve the nation and contribute to its development. She highlighted the fact that youth is the base of any nation. Towards the end of her speech she motivated all the students to serve the nation by staying here in India.
A video was shown to the students on ‘My Yuva Bharat’. 'Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat)’ is envisioned as a pivotal, technology-driven facilitator for youth development and youth-led development, with the overarching goal of providing equitable opportunities to empower the youth in realising their aspirations and contributing to the creation of a “Viksit Bharat” across the entire spectrum of the Government.
The students brought the stage alive with a group discussion which again highlighted the role of youth in Visit Bharat. Some of the takeaways of this discussion were serving the nation by staying here in India, contribution towards Sustainable Development and mindful use of social media.
Our Chief Guest was invited to address the students on the occasion. During her interaction with the students, she acknowledged all the students as ‘Cute Daughters’. She said that after seeing the atmosphere in our campus, she feels that India will be in the right hands in coming future. She did many activities with the students and gave three life mantras to the success to achieve their goal.
