With certificates in hands and faces brightened up with radiating smiles, the Convocation Ceremony for Std 12 was held at Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan on 20 January '24. Convocation ceremony is a day devoted to celebrating an important point in a student's life.
The event was graced by Mrs.Darsha Kikani , an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad and Director of 20 Microns Nano Chemicals Limited, Icemake Refrigeration Limited & Marudhar Industries Limited, Dr. Neeta Shah (Campus Director- SVMR), Mr. Bharat Mavadia (Assistant Director - SVMR) and Dr. Jayesh Mandanka (Chairman - SVMR)
The ceremony started with the lighting of lamp and prayer followed by felicitation of the chief guest. The function proceeded with a speech by our Campus Director Dr. Neeta Shah, she congratulated all the students and acknowledged the Chief guest as a major inspiration for all the girls in campus. She recollected her school days and the memories associated with it. She talked about the relationship that a student shares with a teacher. She motivated all the students to fulfil the wishes of their parents and to have a good sense of communication. She encouraged all the students to be responsible citizens of our country. She told all the students to remember all the values that they have inculcated from the campus and be an all rounder in all aspects of life.
The ceremony proceeded with the speech of the Chief Guest, Mrs. Darsha Kikani. She addressed all the girls as ‘Heroes’ of their life. She congratulated all the students and parents. She compared the life of a student with the life cycle of a butterfly and said that all the girls are ready to fly towards their respective careers. She said all the graduating girls have got wings to fly but she gave a few key points in identifying the right diffraction to fly. Some of which were

This was followed by certificate distribution to the students by the dignitaries. Each certificate was personalised based on the qualities of the students, hobbies and their aim by their teachers. Students were invited on the stage by their respective teachers. A few students shared their experience of being in this school and how it brought a major change in their lives. Few parents were also invited on the stage to share their experience as a parent. The parents acknowledged the campus as the best atmosphere for their child. They also highlighted the fact that they are away from gadgets which is the best part. Neeta mam and teachers are their second mothers. They feel grateful to Pramukh Swami Maharaj for building this school for their daughters.
This was followed by a speech by our Chairman Dr. Jayesh Mandanka. In his speech, he emphasised on the hard work that the students have put in all these years. He said that the convocation is not only for the students but also for the parents. He thanked all the parents for sharing their experience. He recalled the goal of Pramukh Swami Maharaj behind setting up this school. He insisted on the fact that everyone here in this campus contributes in making the future of all the students out there meaningful. He asked all the girls to be emotionally and spiritually strong.
The program ended with a speech by Mr. Bharat Mavadia, Assistant Director. He acknowledged all the students who passed out from this campus and are excelling in their respective career. He highlighted the importance of the value education provided here, Neeta mam's campus management and Mithun sir's mentor system. He also thanked all the teachers who played a major role in student development. In order to motivate all the students he recalled previous boards results. He acknowledged all the students as Pramukh Swami Maharaj's daughters and inspired them to get the best result and make society a better
It was a moment that really added charm to the atmosphere with a sense of achievement. The Third Convocation Ceremony ended with a ray of hope and joy that is sure to inspire the students in the years ahead.
