SVM-Randesan hosted a gripping General Knowledge Quiz Competition, commencing on the 2nd of January 2024 and culminating in a thrilling Grand Finale on January 13th. The competition unfolded over four engaging rounds: two Preliminary Rounds, a Semi-Final, and the pinnacle Grand Finale.
Students, segmented into two groups spanning grades 5 to 7 and 8 to 11, showcased their intellect across various domains, drawing from general knowledge, campus newspapers, daily news presentations in assembly, and library resources.
The initial two rounds were conducted online within the school's computer lab, followed by a Semi-Final held during the morning assembly. The top five students from each class and division advanced from the first round, with an additional ten from each group progressing to the second round. The Semi-Final narrowed the field further, with six finalists emerging triumphant, earning their places in the Grand Finale. And finally the three among them won the Grand Finale with flying colours.
The event not only fostered healthy competition but also encouraged students to delve deeper into a spectrum of knowledge sources, enriching their understanding beyond conventional classroom teachings. SVM-Randesan witnessed a display of intellect and enthusiasm, underscoring the school's commitment to holistic education and intellectual development.
