On 12 Jan '23, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, visited Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan visited the campus where he was shown the interactive classrooms. He interacted with students about the concept of Blended Learning. Thereafter Students explained various activities of the campus displayed through spots which highlighted core areas of our school like Classroom Activities, PCB Labs, ATL lab, Maths & Science lab, Language Lab, PCB lab, and Computer lab & Competitive exam preparation corner. He also explained about the student's daily schedule in the hostel and other extracurricular activities held in school and hostel.
The most fascinating part of his visit was his interaction with our students. He was welcomed with Siddhant Gaan by the students. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan was felicitated by our campus director, Dr. Neeta Shah , our Academic director, Dr. Mithun Khaandwala and our Assistant Director, Mr. Bharat Mavadia.
In his interaction with the students, he discussed National Education Policy and how it is going to help students. He said that the basic aim of National Education Policy is to teach students in their local language or mother tongue for their better understanding and to boost their confidence. He added - “National Education Policy is whatever you have been practising in your school campus.” He also acknowledged and said that the students here are lucky to have interactive boards in each classroom. He also talked about creating more women leaders in society. He acknowledged all the girls on campus as the future leaders of society. Adding to that he said- “Swaminarayan Vidyamandir is the factory for producing future leaders.”
It was indeed an inspirational session for everyone.
