येनाऽक्षरं पुरुषं वेद सत्यं प्रोवाच तां तत्त्वतो ब्रह्मविद्याम् |
Brahmavidya is that by which Akshar and Purushottam are thoroughly known.
It was a day of great honour to have Prof. Gajendra Panda - one of the eminent propagator of Akshar - Purushottam Darshan and Mrs. Jarana Panda - an ardent educator of Sanskrit language, at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan. Prof. Panda elucidated the eminence of the text which has been authored by Mahamahopadhyay Bhadreshdas Swami, through the blessings of Pramukh Swami Maharaj - the Sanskrit commentaries on the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and the Brahmasutra - the foundational scriptures of the Vedant Darshan, collectively known as the Prasthantrayi. He added that how these texts thoroughly establish the Akshar- Purushottam Siddhant on Vedic authority and position it as an independent Vedant Darshan.
During his address he extensively illustrated the scriptural evidences which validates these texts. It was evident from the knowledge and experiences that he shared that in spite of the scholarship that he holds, Prof. Panda has dedicated his life for the service of the learners of Sanskrit language and scriptures. His highly inspirational and thought-provoking words have enlightened the spirits in the students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir. At the end, each one of them was inspirited to serve the purpose of our Guru through education.
