Balika and Yuvati Parayan are traditional annual discourse that mark auspicious Shravan month and is targeted to sing the mahima and glory of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Guru parampara. These discources are held especially for children and by children. They were celebrated on campus during month of August.
Ballika Parayan was held on 30th and 31st July while Yuvati Parayan was held on 6,7, and 8th August. On all three days, the Parayan was themed on the great scripture narrated by Bhagwan Swaminarayan himself - Vachnamrutam. Different interesting programs were also performed which gave them messages regarding concentration in studies and encouraged them to score higher. Solo act, drama, video, theme video, dance etc were performed by the students themselves. All the gruh sanchalikas worked hard with students and their performance.
Such programs provide them an opportunity to break free from their routine, provides them with invaluable information about our glorious tradition and past in a format that they prefer and most importantly, facing public helps build confidence in them! Truly an Win-Win situation.
