Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ with great enthusiasm and fervour on 14th September, 2019 in the school as a mark of acknowledgement of HINDI as the National Language. Our honorable chief guest for this occasion was Mrs. Paru Thakkar, Project Manager at BISAG (Gandhinagar), who was welcomed by our respected Director, Dr. Neeta Shah.
A special assembly was conducted by the students to mark this occasion. The celebrations began with the welcome dance by the students of Grade-V and VI which was indeed a delight to eyes. It was followed by poetry recitation by students of grade VII. Nukkad Natak named ‘Hindi Bimaar hai’... spreading awareness on ‘Importance of Hindi language’ was enacted by the senior students and it grabbed the attention of the audience with its humour, dialogues and quick movements. Speech by Mrs. Paru Thakkar gave an insight and importance of Hindi in our daily life and urged everyone to speak Hindi at least once in a day. She added and said that ‘Sanskrit is the mother of all languages’. She also gave a brief insight on the history of Hindi diwas celebration and ‘Hindi Pakhwada’.
Towards the end, our Director Neeta mam appreciated the efforts put by the students and emphasized that we should be proud of Hindi as our National language.
