The Vachanmrut Dwishatabdi Mahotsav was celebrated in the form of participation in Bal-Balika Adhiveshan 2019. 353 students of grade 5-8 participated in the 11 competitions with zeal and enthusiasm. The preparations began well in advance in the hostels by gruhmata. Students recited the contents during 4 to 5 pm in the evenings, on Sundays and in free time along with the help of gruh sanchalika, teachers and expert peers to prepare shreni, role play, drawing, stories, dances, speeches, skit and theory.
The events were organized systematically from 28 February to 2 March in different batches. A dry run was performed previous to prepare students and the judges. The smooth flow of the competitions was ensured by a wholehearted contribution of members of YTK, gruhsanchalika, and teachers on all three days. The students did best on their part and surprised the judges with their performance. The students learned more than twice of the specified target of clusters to be prepared (shreni), while in some competitions judges were overwhelmed with their performance. Few students scored highest in more than one competitions, on the other hand, more than one student stood first in the same competition. The assessment was done fairly and compiled systematically for display. The winner was felicitated with the awards on 18.03.2019 in the presence of Shri Janakbhai Dave and Smt. Pratimaben.
