Music is the conveyed and understood beyond words and above languages. It breaks boundaries and barriers and touches hearts. "Music for peace" a musical concert of traditional Japanese Music was held at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir on 21st April 2018.
Mr. Thoaka and Ms. Sayaca were the musicians of the day who came in with their traditional Japanese instruments. Mr. Katsuya Kodama (Advisor, World Children Summit, 2018) accompanied them. This concert was aimed at making students aware of music and culture of Japan. The music proposed to maintain peace and tranquility between both nations and illuminate students with Japanese voice training as well as art and culture.
As part of the exchange, the Japanese artists joined the girls for garba to end the evening on an energetic note.
