‘Kirtan’ binds our soul, hearts, and emotion. It is the best method for relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. To bring out the singing talent of the students and nurture group dynamics amongst them, ‘Kirtan Aradhana’ was organized at Swaminarayan vidyamandir, Randesan on 13th October 2018 for all the grades on occasion of Janmajayanti of Mahant Swami Maharaj. Each class prepared a kirtan under the expert guidance of their music teacher, Mrs. Meena Modi. Children sang kirtan with a lot of passion, confidence, and divine feeling. They undertook this exercise only to offer their devotion to Guru P. P. Mahant Swami Maharaj.
Melodious kirtans pulled the heartstrings of everyone. Each class showed their grip over chorus singing, voice modulation, pitch, rhythm, and tone, achieved after 5 months of guided training by Mrs. Meena Modi. Everyone enjoyed the program thoroughly. Mrs. Meena Modi also shared her views and encouraged the students to do better in the future.
