International Mother Language Day is celebrated worldwide on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity. At BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan this day was celebrated as a proud moment for the Gujarati Language.
In a special assembly held in evening, the students performed a skit about how different languages are wrecking a havoc in heart of language lover through a small, satirical skit. Sneha Patel of std 9 gave a speech. This small program made everyone realize how important it is to remember and respect Mother Language in the era of English dominance.
