Annual Day is celebrated to rejuvenate the spirit of the institution, every year. To connect with the parents, patrons, and well-wishers. To bring out the latent potential of all the students and motivate them to break the mental barriers.
The annual day this year was themed, Hum Ek Kadam Aage, (moving one step ahead). It celebrated the spirit of the students at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan to move a step ahead in life, always.
The event was graced by Dr. Pushpa Joshi as Chief Guest. She has been working with various government and organizations for the education of children and also has been instrumental in the implementation of various programs of government that target education of girl child. Currently, she is working as Education Specialist at UNICEF, Gujarat. Along with her, the event was enhanced by presence and words of wisdom by Smt. Kaumudi Palan and Smt. Kiran Patel. Also, Sh. Satish Rawal, Secretary - BAPS was present to inspire everyone present.
The evening was started with the chanting of Vedic mantras, prayer followed by Deep pragatya by Chief guest and others esteemed guests. Dr. Pushpa Joshi shared her experience of school and education system with everyone present while Smt. Kaumudi Palan and Smt Kiran Patel shared their experiences with SVM Randesan and girls.
The event was carried forward by beautiful, colorful and stunning dances, followed by Drama "Hum Ek Kadam Aage" that talked about the transformative journey of students at SVM Randesan. the nurturing of physical, mental, social and spiritual being was discussed and displayed through the drama and video. At the end, energetic performances of dance enthralled everyone present.
Truly, it was an evening to be cherished, forever.
