Environment conservation is a global cause which is a growing concern like never before. The fact remains that environment does not need us, we need it. With these concerns in mind, World Environment Day was celebrated at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan on 5th June, 2017.
Environment Conservation & Awareness is a value that must be inculcated in all, especially the children. Thus, on the very first day of Academic year – 2017-18, there was grand celebration for World Environment Day.
Speeches, dance and Parade were performed with zest by the new students. Educators too had put up lot of effort in making the event successful. Chief Guest, Sh. Soni Saheb (Registrar, Lokayukta, Gujarat) also explained students the importance of environment conservation and motivated them to save the natural resources.
BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan which already houses more than 4000 trees, plants and shrubs initiated plantation of 500 more trees on this day.
At the end of assembly, students, educators, officials, guests came together for tree plantation in school premisis.
