Students are raw material. They are little birds willing to fly. Their wings and flight is determined by how much potential is explored in them. They have unlimited opportunities awaiting them in real world. We, at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir aim at expanding and felicitating their potential.
In one such exercise, the students of standard 8 and 9 were taken to SAC - Space Application Centre (ISRO – Indian Space Research Organisation). A special exhibition for school students is stationed at SAC, Ahmedabad (Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition Center) under aegis of Space Application Center. This exhibition aims at making students aware and interested in scientific pursuits and making them aware of achievements of India in space expeditions and fascinating technology behind it.
This half-day visit enlightened the students towards various aspects that they had only learnt or known in books, newspapers or classrooms. Grand Life Size models, presentations, 3D movie etc. enhanced their knowledge of space and science behind it. Students thoroughly enjoyed visit to this exhibition and came back enriched with knowledge.
