Adhiveshan, an exercise to sharpen students’ brain and memory was carried out. Also this Adhiveshan aimed at imbibing the traditional values into their daily routine and further continuing the vocal tradition of India.
Aahnik, as we call it, is traditional routine which has been followed religiously. Several poetries have been created to sing along during those activities. Such proses and verses makes those routine activities exciting and bhakti oriented. Work is transformed into devotion when bhakti is involved. Thus, in order to carry forward this tradition, verses and poems for performing Aahnik were given for memorizing. Also, small booklet with 300 “Swami ni Vaato” (small pearls of wisdom from Aksharbrahm Gunatitanand Swami) was provided.
The students were given these exercise during their summer vacation. This also ensured that students utilized their vacation in fruitful way. On 11th June, Sunday Adhiveshan was carried out at campus. Trainees of Yuvati Talim Kendra conducted this Adhiveshan. Students worked hard for over a month and half for this preparation.
