Yogasanas, unlike anything else have captured imagination of fitness enthusiasts all over the world like nothing else. Across the countries, cultures and religions, people are realizing the importance and power of yogasanas into maintaining the balance of senses and fitness of body.
At BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan, the students also celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2017. Students assembled at the central lawn of the campus in wee hours and with cool breeze in environment and early morning sun shine, the students started their pranayam & Surya Namaskaar. With more than 700 participants perfroming pranayam and Omkar Naad, the ambience was filled with positivity.
The students who have excellent command over different asanas presented spectacular display of Punra Bhujangasana, shalbhasana, purna matsyendrasana, Padma shirshasana, kokil-kanthasana, dhanurasana, halasana, dandasana, marodasana etc. which came together to create beautiful formations.
Chief guest of the day, Shree Pankaj Gupta (Sr. VP, IL & FS, GIFT City, Gujarat) appreciated the coordinated efforts of all to organise the event.
