Student Appreciation – Sept ‘16

Children are special. They need special care and nourishment. They have a mind of their own which is difficult to be understood by an adult- be it imitating the behavior or the child-like-wish of being more acceptable. They tend to follow the social trait that is more acceptable and valued. They take pride in smallest of appreciation given and take each sentence spoken with heart. Keeping several such facts in mind, BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan has started a monthly “Student Appreciation Programme”.

Under this, the students are assessed continuously by the teachers, gruh sanchalikas and officials on campus for their behavior, conduct and academic performance. They are evaluated on more than 10 parameters and 2 students were chosen from each class for their exceptional performance. Although many students were eligible, only the top 2 best were selected for appreciation for this month. This was done to encourage all the students to perform better and be a well-behaved student.

Also, the students were given a “Creative Research Task” to perform during the short vacation of 1 week. The students had to search for good articles from news papers/magazines, and present it creatively. The students who had performed well were also falicitated. The names of students are as given below.
