Rathyatra is a traditional festival of India celebrated with enthusiasm throughout the country. BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir-Randesan also celebrated its first Rathyatra Utsav with over 370 Girls, well-wishers, and staff.
On this auspicious day, murtis of Guru Parampara and Guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj were seated in the beautifully decorated chariot. Pujan of the murtis in Rath was performed by Director - Dr. Neeta Shah, Dr. Anila Patel, Dr.Shanti Parekh, Gruh Mata - Neetaben Ranpurwala in the presence of all students.
Rathyatra started on the campus in the evening. Girls sang kirtans, performed garba. All the residential rooms were sanctified by Maharaj and Guru Parampara Murtis.
The devotion of all the students was shown through beautiful Rangolis and room decoration.
The yatra concluded at the Assembly stage where students performed skits and dances. Finally, at 7.00 pm Arti was performed to mark the end of this most colourful, and enjoyable Rath yatra celebration with the Prayer of good health for P.P. Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
