The aim of BAPS Swaminaryaan Vidyamandir Randesan is holistic development of every student. Developing their body, mind, and soul will finally lead to development of healthy, responsible, thoughtful and righteous citizens.
On 3rd April 2016 HDH Pramukh swami maharaj performed Murti Pratistha of Murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, Aksharbharhm Gunatitanand Swami, and Guru parampara. (http://www.baps.org/Vicharan/2016/03-April-2016-9460.aspx) The same murtis were consecrated at Yogi Prayer hall inside BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan on 1st October 2016 by P. Satsangijivan swami, P. Shrihari swami and P. Purshottamcharan swami and P. Atmakirti swami and other sadhus from Ahmedabad mandir.
On 30th Sept 2016, A colourful and joyous Shobha-yatra was taken out by officials and students. The murtis were placed in a decorated chariot and were taken around on campus.
On 1st October 2016, the murti-sthapan vidhi was performed by sadhus. The murtis were consecrated after maha-puja. Beautiful ‘Annakut’ was placed before the murtis and first aarti was perfomed by everyone present. A dream come true for all! Sadhus present delivered spiritual discourses and emphasized on importance and need of Mandir in our lives.
In the end students did darshan and danced to tunes of kirtans. Memories of utsav shall stay etched in heart of each and every one, forever!
