As a part of Second International Day of Yoga, celebrated worldwide, students at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan also participated in Mass yoga class. As a move to popularise ancient Indian wisdom, the UN has declared June 21 as International day of Yoga. This day is celebrated in all the corners of the globe since last year. This year, our students too participated. But, at SVM Randesan, Yogasan are not a matter of a day. Every day, the students gather in the Central lawn of campus to perform yogasan. The girls have already started feeling the benefits of Yogasan on their health – both Physical and Mental. “It makes me strong, from the inside out,” Says Bhakti from class 6. The girls show great enthusiasm in participating in these classes and come out early in the morning for the same. Today’s celebration was just another occasion for them to perform Yogasan. “I see future of India in you.” Said highly impressed Smt. Smriti Dagur, President of IETE and Chief guest for the event.
