BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan’s commitment to the holistic development of the Learners dates back to its inception. It is when the BAPS SVM, Randesan School decided to accept admission for the students studying in both Vernacular and English Medium schools. To pursue this objective, a Special Program as bridge course is designed for the students whose mother tongue language is not English. Bridge course was started on 9th May 2016.Though it was carried out extensively throughout the month, it shall conclude only when a student reaches the desired level of proficiency in the English language set by the School. This Programme aims to transit students from local language to English medium instructions delivered during classes in the School. This programme is a specific program firmly rooted in culture and philosophy of BAPS SVM, Randesan School.
For this purpose, 20 highly skilled mentors were selected from many applications. These mentors were volunteers who taught the students in class, played with them and stayed with them in the hostel. The mentors stayed on campus for full 1month.Mentors made sure the girls felt at home in new premises and yet learnt a language they were new to. The environment was lively, happy and cheerful with their presence. Everyone left the campus on 4th June with vivid memories and lifelong experiences.
