Your consultant will make an entry for discharge on your case sheet. After this, the resident doctors shall prepare the discharge card. Your nurse will assist you in the discharge process which may take few hours to complete the process. Then the file is sent to the inpatient reception for clearance, after which the final bill is prepared, taking into account all the deposits. Once your final bill is generated, you are expected to clear your dues by paying cash or by a credit/debit card. Billing Staff will hand over your discharge summary then Resident Doctor will explain the medications you need to continue after your discharge and any other follow-up instructions. In case you need a medical ambulance to drop you at your home, then please inform your nurse and she will make the necessary arrangement.
At the Time of Discharge:

Please submit your patient companion passes at Billing Desk while leaving.

Please take all your personal belonging at the time of your discharge.

Please understand carefully how the medications are to be taken.

Take follow up appointments.

Discharge process will take Maximum 1 to 1.30 hour after intimation of Doctors to Final Billing of Cash Discharge Patients.

In case of Mediclaim patients, Discharge process can take up to 4-5 hours as we need to wait for the final approval from the insurance/TPA company.
