More than 125 youths from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth, Wollongong, and other cities across Australia gathered at Peninsula Outdoors Camp in Victoria for the BAPS Chhatralay Shibir, Australia.
The shibir was held in the presence of Mahamahopadhyaya Bhadreshdas Swami, who provided crucial guidance on Indian Philosophy and the Akshar-Purushottam Darshan, based on the Sanatan Vedic shastras.
The five-day camp, themed ‘Sidhi Liti ni Samjan’ (meaning, Clear-Cut Understanding) gave the participants insights into three profound principles of Satsang:
1. Swaminarayan Bhagwan is Parabrahma Purushottam.
2. Gunatitanand Swami is Aksharbrahma.
3. Pragat Satpurush (Aksharbrahma) – Mahant Swami Maharaj – is the manifest form of Swaminarayan Bhagwan on this earth and the gateway to moksha.
In addition to the speeches by swamis, participants engaged in workshops, panel discussions, and indoor and outdoor activities. To foster their cooking skills, a special competition titled ‘My Kitchen Rule’ was held. Additionally, they received guidance on the importance of contributing to Mahant Swami Maharaj’s vision for building Akshardham in Melbourne.
