More than 650 children and youths participated in the Bal-Kishore Summer Camps held at 12 BAPS centers across Australia and New Zealand: Adelaide, Auckland, Brisbane Mandir, Canberra, Christchurch, Darwin, Melbourne Mandir, Melbourne South, Melbourne West, Perth Mandir, Sydney, and Wellington.
Themed ‘Keshavjivanam Mama Gurum’, the three-day camps provided a unique and enriching experience for high school and university students during their summer vacations.
The camps guided the participants on Satsang, Seva (Selfless Service) and Spirituality. The participants also engaged in activities related to sabha decoration, preparation, and presentation, as well as cooking competitions, hiking trails, and a musical symphony.
The participants departed with not only memories of an unforgettable experience, but also knowledge and skills in various areas essential for personal and professional growth that go beyond academic learning.
