The construction of the majestic Pramukh Swami Maharaj Smruti Mandir in Sarangpur is well under way. On 13 July 2022, the sacred day of Guru Purnima, the mandir’s Dwarshakh Pujan Vidhi was held to mark the completion of the mandir’s main dwarshakh . A dwarshakh is an ornate door frame of an entrance, through which devotees will pass to reach the mandir’s sanctum.
The event took place in the presence of Gnaneshwar Swami, other senior swamis, and devotees from India and abroad. A mahapuja was first held in the Yagnapurush Sabha Mandap. The gathering then moved to the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Smruti Mandir, where the final, carved stone was set in place to complete the dwarshakh . Auspicious Vedic prayers were recited as the dwarshakh was sanctified. Then, everyone offered their respects to the sacred stone.
