For the first time in the Far East region, a three-day Satsang Shibir was organized for devotees from across East Asia, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Held in the presence of Pujya Viveksagar Swami and other BAPS swamis, the central theme of the satsang shibir was ‘Asmita’.
During the shibir, Pujya Viveksagar Swami and the sadhus lucidly elaborated on the three key aspects of Asmita – Sanstha, Siddhant and Satpurush.
His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj showered his blessings from India via video, “Only by having asmita for the Sanstha, Siddhant and Satpurush can one truly progress on the spiritual path. Brahmaswarup Shastriji Maharaj, out of deep compassion, propagated the Akshar-Purushottam Siddhant by building mandirs. Furthermore, it is only the Satpurush who can lead one to Maharaj (Bhagwan Swaminarayan). Without the Satpurush, one would be totally lost. Without the Satpurush, there is no moksha.”
In addition, attendees participated in a samuh puja session to enrich their knowledge of personal worship rituals.
An activity-based shibir for bal and balikas was also held at the same time, in which the youngsters learnt about various aspects of asmita through fun and games.
