A total of over 240 women volunteer leaders from BAPS centers in Gujarat and Mumbai attended the two 2-day National Leadership Seminars (13–15 May and 15–17 May), which focused on training the women volunteers to better fulfill their duties as senior volunteers.
Through speeches by experienced volunteers, skits, audio-visual presentations, discussions and question-answer sessions, the volunteers learnt about various spiritual and activity-related topics, including, swarupnishtha, swadharmanishtha, teamwork, human relations, volunteer roles and responsibilities, activities management, networking, family harmony and others.
Lead volunteers also conducted team-based activities to demonstrate the importance of working together at all levels and to emphasize that each volunteer is valuable. Senior volunteers briefed the attendees about ongoing projects and activities, like the Yuvati Talim Kendra, to enable them to support their local karyakars in all satsang activities.
The enlightening two-day training seminars provided the volunteers with valuable insights on how to effectively execute their work as lead karyakars.
