In Brisbane, on 9 July, in collaboration with the City Council of Logan, around 35 BAPS volunteers enthusiastically participated to help plant 330 native plants.
In Perth, on 23 July, 16 BAPS volunteers braved the cold and rain to plant wattle saplings, tar bush, tall spear grass seedlings and native salt bush on sand dunes at Mindarie Foreshore to rehabilitate the sand dunes as part of the council coastal rehabilitation project at the Quinns Mindarie Surf Life Saving Club. An area of 3,000 m2 was rehabilitated by the volunteers and over 2,000 saplings and seedlings were planted.
