During the weekend of September 14-15, 2024, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Redmond, WA, joyously celebrated its 10th anniversary with a series of vibrant events, highlighting the spirit of community and devotion. Devotees from across the Pacific Northwest gathered, transforming the mandir into a lively center of cultural and spiritual activity.
The festivities on Sunday, September 15, began with a colorful yatra, where devotees reverently carried a kalash (ceremonial pot) and sacred scriptures on their heads. The atmosphere came alive with the rhythmic beats of Indian drums and uplifting kirtans, as participants joyfully danced in devotion. Following the procession, revered swamis led a Vedic mahapuja, providing a deeply spiritual experience for all in attendance.
