The launch ceremony of the Tree Planting Campaign organized by the BAPS Paryavaran Seva Kendra at the BAPS Mandir in Gadhada was held in the presence of BAPS swamis, distinguished guests and devotees. After the assembly, swamis and guests planted trees in the mandir grounds.
Throughout the region, over 2,000 devotees from around 100 villages near Gadhada participated in the project to plant over 5,000 fruit-bearing trees.
Of the 5,000 trees planted last year (2023), 80% (4,000) have been successfully nurtured and are thriving.
