Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat visited Sarangpur with some of his colleagues on 2 January 2015.
Shri Bhagwat offered prayers at the mandir and visited the sadhus’ study center. Shri Bhagwat addressed a small assembly and informed everyone about the work of RSS and the dedication of its volunteers. He mentioned that the scriptures sing the glory of sadhus like Pramukh Swami Maharaj and that such a sadhu is an embodiment of the shastras. He referred to himself and his colleagues as ‘sadhaks’ who had come to receive the blessings of a ‘siddha’, Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Shri Bhagwat then had darshan of Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj, during which he was honored with a sanctified garland and a shawl. Swamishri blessed him and his colleagues for their dedicated work for the nation. Sharing his experience, Shri Bhagwat mentioned the darshan of Swamishri as ‘absolutely divine.’
