Satsang shibirs, centered on the theme of “Yagnapurush Chhe Sathe”, were held across North America in the presence of Sadguru Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami. The one-day shibir comprised of spiritual discourses, workshops and reflection sessions depicting the life and work of Brahmaswarup Shastriji Maharaj, the founder of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. Pujya Shrijikirtan Swami further reflected on the core philosophical principles, disciplines, and practices defining the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. The seminars were a prelude to the upcoming 150th birth anniversary of Shastriji Maharaj. In total, 46 such satsang shibirs have been organized spanning a 7-month period during which the Swamis are traveling across North America.
Through such seminars, BAPS endeavors to inspire spiritual as well as holistic development of individuals and encourages the passage of strong values and heritage to future generations.
