Around 40 BAPS youths participated in the first ever yuvak shibir in Kuwait, held in a villa in the desert at Kabd on 13 and 14 February 2014.
During the shibir the youths were guided by speeches by learned sadhus in India relayed live via Skype. Brahmadarshan Swami explained about ‘Gunatit ni Olkhaan’, Bhaktisagar Swami talked about ‘Pragat ni Prapti’ and Anirdesh Swami spoke on ‘Ajod Satpurush Pramukh Swami Maharaj’.
Other activities during the two-day shibir included samuh puja, cheshta and team games.
Before departing, the youths pledged to observe niyams such as daily puja, tilak-chandlo, daily arti and cheshta, daily Satsang reading, attending the weekly Satsang assembly and to sincerely practice the codes of the Shikshapatri.
Each youth was presented a mala sanctified by Pramukh Swami Maharaj as a memento.
