Mahila Parayans were held in satsang centers across Africa. These talks and assemblies, conducted by the womens wing, strengthened their faith and helped the audience learn more about satsang from Bhagwan Swaminarayan's time till the present day.
In Nairobi, the Mahila Mandal held a three-day parayan during which the lives and efforts of women devotees from Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s time was highlighted.
During the first two days of the parayan, the talks and discussions centered on Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s life and His work. A section on Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s focus on family unity and ghar sabha was also included during these days. A video of Swamishri and a drama highlighted ghar sabha as a tool for family unity.
The third day began with a ‘pothi-yatra’ around the mandir, during which devotees of all ages carried scriptures bound in red cloth on their heads as a mark of respect and devotion.
Similarly, Mahila parayans were also held in other satsang centers in Africa.
