On Friday, 25th May 2012 in the morning hours, a ground breaking ceremony took place for the construction of a classroom block at Nakivubo primary school, Kampala. This new classroom block is being donated by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Uganda as a charity in support to the education sector. The ground breaking was done by Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami assisted by Pujya Priyavrat Swami and other sadhus in the presence of school administrators, local council officials, executives of BAPS Uganda and others.
The local Council Chairman and the deputy head teacher thanked BAPS Uganda for their generous contribution and fulfilling their commitment made during golden jubilee celebrations in 2010. They also prayed for our continued support to uplift the stand of education.
