On 29 may 1999, ayatollah Sayyid Albolfazl Mousoni Tabrizi (Member of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran), together with Hujjatul Islam Sayyed Saeid Reza Ameli (Managing Director, ICEL), Hujjatul Islam Sayyed Murteza Saheb Fosool (Minister of Religion, ICEL) and Mr. Hammed Faraji (Deputy for Administration, ICEL) visited the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London. Pujya Atmaswarup Swami received and honoured them and together they discussed various issues on religion and culture. The respected Ayatullah praised the efforts of the devotees in looking after the mandir and especially appreciated the cleanliness. He requested the sadhus to pray that oil prices remain at a level which will help his country prosper in future and expressed his wish for closer ties with the Sanstha.
