Mahamahopadhyaya Bhadreshdas Swami met with Professor Luca Scarantino, President of the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP) and host of the 25th World Congress of Philosophy in Rome
Bhadreshdas Swami explained some of the salient features of classical Indian philosophy
Professor Scarantino listened attentively to a succinct overview of Akṣara-Puruṣottama Darśana
Professor Scarantino actively engaged in the philosophical discussion
During the discussion, Bhadreshdas Swami touched upon the enduring relevance of philosophy in contemporary society and the need for continued dialogue and exploration
Professor Scarantino was pleased to engage in the meaningful exchange of ideas and thoughts
Bhadreshdas Swami congratulated Professor Scarantino and the organising committee on the resounding success of the conference
Professor Noburu Notomi, President of the Philosophical Association of Japan (PAJ) and host of the next World Congress of Philosophy, was also present in the meeting
Bhadreshdas Swami reaffirmed his hope that all the participants of the conference would be inspired to continue their philosophical pursuits with renewed vigour
Professor Scarantino and Professor Notomi were pleased to engage in the scholarly dialogue
Professor Scarantino reiterated his belief in the importance of philosophy in addressing contemporary global challenges and fostering a deeper understanding of human existence
Professor Scarantino thanked Bhadreshdas Swami for participating in the conference and presenting Akṣara-Puruṣottama Darśana
Bhadreshdas Swami gifted a set of the ‘Swaminarayan-Bhashyam’ commentaries to President Scarantino
President Scarantino was honoured to have received the commentaries from the author himself, Mahamahopadhyaya Bhadreshdas Swami

Professor Notomi was intrigued to learn more about the Akṣara-Puruṣottama school of thought and practice
Professor Notomi concluded the meeting by holding hands with Bhadreshdas Swami
Before departing, Professor Notomi offered a traditional Japanese gift to Bhadreshdas Swami, inviting him to the 26th World Congress of Philosophy to be held in Tokyo in 2028
