Participants for the yagna began arriving as early as 5.30am – but not before the unexpected rain
Devotees and well-wishers waited patiently in the rain before entering the yagnashala
Each participant had pre-registered for the yagna and received guidelines directly from the ‘Festival of Harmony’ mobile app
The dais of the yagnashala held the chal swarup (smaller murtis) of all the deities that will be consecrated in the main mandir, including Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj

More than 980 participants from across the Gulf region and other parts of the world came together to offer prayers for peace and harmony
Expert priests from India had come to Abu Dhabi to officiate the yagna
Participants happily sat through the yagna even while it rained
Devotees and well-wishers from all over the world had come to participate in this unique yagna
This was the first such traditional yagna taking place in the Middle East
A total of 121 kunds (sacred fire altars) had been created in the yagnashala within the Mandir campus
The rain lashed down on the yagna participants almost throughout the two-hour ceremony
People of various faiths and backgrounds had joined in the yagna for global peace and harmony
