The Mayor was joined by the local Member of Parliament, Dawn Butler
Mr Khan and Ms Butler were joined by Krupesh Hirani, London Assembly Member for Brent and Harrow, as well as BAPS trustees Jitu Patel, Dr Mayank Shah and Vinu Bhattessa OBE
In a personal meeting with Mahant Swami Maharaj, the Mayor said, “I am here as the leader of London to pay my respects to you and also to thank you because this community does
so
much good for Hindus and non-Hindus.”
The Mayor sought the blessings of Mahant Swami Maharaj
The Mayor added: “The ripples of goodness [from your flock] are felt by everyone in the city.”
The Mayor also joined the evening assembly
