Renowned Indian Yoga Guru Sadhguru visits Neasden Temple, London, UK

Sadhguru ‘Jaggi’ Vasudev is a renowned yoga teacher, mystic, speaker and author

He was welcomed to Neasden Temple by the head of the mandir, Yogvivekdas Swami

Yogvivekdas Swami guided Sadhguruji on a brief tour of the mandir, introducing him to some of BAPS’s work in the UK and Europe

Sadhguru paid his respects to the deities in the upper sanctum and appreciated its traditional Hindu architecture

Sadhguruji also offered his respects to the creator of Neasden Temple, Pramukh Swami Maharaj, and the current inspirer, Mahant Swami Maharaj

Sadhguruji joined in offering abhishek to Shri Nilkanth Varni Maharaj, the teenage form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan

Sadhguruji was also introduced to some of the lead volunteers of BAPS in the UK and Europe

He also learned about the recent work of BAPS, in response to the coronavirus pandemic and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine

Sadhguruji was warmly greeted as he arrived on stage in the assembly hall

Yogvivekdas Swami formally welcomed Sadhguruji and the guests to the special assembly

Sadhguruji began his dialogue with some meditation

Sadhguruji had arrived in the UK as part of his ‘Save Soil’ campaign to raise awareness about soil degradation and extinction

Sadhguru explained to the audience the importance and urgent need of saving soil

Several special guests, including MPs, peers and leaders of Hindu mandirs and associations had joined the assembly

Sadhguruji also spoke about Hindu spirituality

At the conclusion of the assembly, Yogvivekdas Swami presented an amrut kalash to Sadhguruji, filled with sanctified soil from the holy birthplaces of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and all the gurus of the BAPS tradition

The invited guests had an opportunity to meet and dine with Sadhguruji after the assembly

Before departing, Sadhguruji posed for a photo in front of the Mandir and a tribute to Pramukh Swami Maharaj's centennial celebrations
