From the car parks, visitors were shuttled to and from the Mandir in minibuses throughout the day
Visitors were able to deposit bags and valuables in a dedicated marquee
Ushers greeted and guided visitors throughout the day
Visitors deposited their footwear at the shoe racks
Young volunteers enthusiastically received and returned visitors' shoes throughout the day
Not a single pair of shoes were lost among the thousands handled by the young volunteers
Volunteers served hot food to visitors in the 'Diwali Village'
Volunteers were also on hand to clean up litter
BAPS partnered with Carers UK to produce a carers' guide in Gujarati, which was distributed by volunteers during the day
