To celebrate the auspicious birth anniversaries of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Shri Ram, devotees gathered with great devotion and enthusiasm. This year’s celebration was themed "Maano Chaitanya Rup Tamaaru", highlighting the divine tools that Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Shri Ram have bestowed upon humanity to conquer the ongoing inner battle against negative swabhavs (intrinsic tendencies).
Ram Bhagwan’s victory over Ravan in the Ramayan serves as a profound metaphor for the internal struggle individuals face against their own swabhavs, such as arrogance, envy, and greed. Just as Ravan’s downfall stemmed from his unchecked negative tendencies, individuals must also overcome these inner obstacles to progress on the path of spiritual growth. The program emphasized that the battle between Ram and Ravan is not merely a historical event, but a timeless lesson encouraging self-improvement and righteousness.
Bhagwan Swaminarayan introduced bhakti as a powerful medium to align one’s thoughts, words, and actions with God and Guru. Through the establishment of the Ekantik Satpurush lineage, mandirs, and the preservation of sacred scriptures and teachings, He laid a strong foundation for sustained spiritual progress. The program, through heartfelt testimonials, reinforced that by adhering to the teachings and commands of the Guru, individuals can overcome inner weaknesses, experience personal spiritual transformation, and foster harmony within their families and communities.Women of all ages actively participated in the celebrations, expressing their devotion through classical musical performances, traditional dances, engaging skits, and insightful discourses. The program served as a powerful reminder that the path to moksha, or liberation, is made possible through a deep connection with our Guru, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, who continues to inspire and guide us with a practical approach to spiritual growth.
