The essence of Vedic inquiry, knowledge and philosophy is termed 'Vedanta'. Continuing its promotion of this ancient wisdom within the modern context, BAPS Swaminarayan Research Institute, Australia (BSRIA) organized Vedanta Conferences in Perth and Sydney.
The conferences were presided over by Mahamahopadhyaya Bhadreshdas Swami and world-renowned scholar Prof. Ram Kishor Tripathi, Head, Vedanta Department, Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi and Upadhyaksh of the highly respected Kashi Vidvat Parishad.
Speakers presented lucid talks on topics such as Relevance of Vedanta in the Modern Age, Importance of Sanskrit Learning and Vedic Sanatan Dharma. Audience members also had the opportunity to interact with the scholars through Q & A sessions which provided a deeper understanding of Vedic philosophy.
The conference concluded with certificates being awarded to students who had recently completed some of the many Vedanta and Sanskrit-based courses offered by BSRIA.
Various social, spiritual and academic organizations presented Prof. Tripathi with letters of appreciation and expressed their gratitude to BSRIA for organizing the conferences.
Prof. Tripathi also appreciated BSRIA's effort in promoting Indian philosophy and knowledge systems abroad, especially among the younger generation.
