The auspicious Hindu festivals of Shri Swaminarayan Jayanti and Shri Rama Navami were marked with a host of devotional festivities and cultural programmes at BAPS Hindu mandirs and centres around the UK and across Europe.
They celebrated the divine manifestation of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Shri Ramachandra, allowing devotees to learn and be inspired by their divine life, work, and teachings.
The cultural programme, titled ‘Adharma Andhāru Tālyu’, focussed on how Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Ramachandra dispelled darkness and illuminated the path of righteousness. It was delivered by children and youths across each centre, incorporating an enthralling production of enlightening skits, vibrant dances, eloquent bhajans, and uplifting presentations.
Many mandirs and centres also offered an opportunity for darshan, pujan, and family photos with large images of Shri Rama Lalla and Bal Prabhu Ghanshyam Maharaj.
The festivities concluded with the janmotsav arti for Bhagwan Shri Ramachandra and Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan.
